The Santa Ana rivermouth meets the Pacific right on the border of Newport Beach and Huntington Beach. It's known as one of the region's most consistent (and sometimes extremely good) breaks that can produce fast, hollow a-frames all over the beach. Those perfect days are generally scarce, but that's kind of how it goes with perfect days. Plenty of fun to be had regardless of perfection anyway.
