The Banzai Pipeline in Haleʻiwa, Oʻahu.
A wave that really needs no introduction. The North Shore's Pipeline is the first entry in the Hawaiʻi Collection of the Wave Arcade WPA Surf Series.
Sunset Beach in Pupukea, Oʻahu.
Just up the way from the famous Pipeline, Pupukea's Sunset Beach is a beautiful 2-mile stretch of sandy beach located on the North Shore of Oʻahu. The large reef and point at the north end of the beach offer a ton of different set ups depending on the season and conditions. Surf can get big and powerful here, like much of the North Shore. If you're not surfing, Sunset Beach is definitely a must-visit on any trip to Oʻahu.
Waimea Bay in Haleʻiwa, Oʻahu.
Depending on the season and conditions, Waimea Bay can offer very different experiences. In the big swells of the winter, it is one of the most famous big wave surf spots and home to The Eddie when it goes XL. Calmer conditions offer some of the most scenic snorkeling, swimming, and rock jumping you can find. Venture about a mile inland through the Waimea valley and you'll stumble upon a beautiful waterfall and swimming hole. Another North Shore classic to open the Hawaii Collection of the Wave Arcade WPA Surf Series.
