Wooden Flex Fin
A classic fin template inspired by Greenough’s 4A fin. A wide base with flex through the tip makes for solid speed and flow through carves and turns.
A perfect go-to single fin for whatever the waves are doing.
This is a handcrafted single fin made from wood, carbon fiber, and bio-resin.
This is a classic flex fin based off the Greenough 4-A fin template. It’s a solid fin in any material, but our marine ply construction makes it ultra-light and gives a liveliness to its flex and recoil that you just won’t find in fiberglass and composites.
Perfect as a single or as a 2+1. The Greenough 4A is a tried and tested fin that proves fun in a wide range of waves and surfing styles. A must have in your fin collection.
Available in sizes 7.5″ to 9.5″ – it’s a great choice for a variety of boards – everything from pintails to classic logs. You’re sure to have some fun.
Ours are handcrafted using eco-friendly materials: wood core, carbon fiber, and bio-based epoxy resin.

These fins are super lightweight with a carbon fiber reinforced base and a springy flex/recoil created by the wood core that’s sealed with bio-based epoxy resin.

Considering some of the challenges making wood fins for removable base systems, we decided to go with 0° cant in the Futures base. It’ll likely feel different from Futures fins you’re used to – the zero cant angle is going to feel a little more pivoty/looser in turns, but super fast.
