It doesn’t really require mentioning, but I’ll get it out of the way. 2020 has been a crazy couple of months. COVID-19 is having a drastic effect on the lives of people all over the world.
For the Wave Arcade project, the global pandemic has brought some new challenges: the Culture Marketplace shut down, order fulfillment is delayed, and surfing/beach access is prohibited here in San Diego, California.
But, there’s some good news too, and Wave Arcade is certainly not going away.
The art & design arm of the project took a back seat for a while, but given the circumstances, it has finally received the attention it deserved.
In the Apparel & Accessories section of the Wave Arcade shop, you’ll find a whole bunch of new surf t-shirts, hoodies, etc. The selection will only continue to expand. I hope you’ll find something you enjoy!
I’m also happy to announce the recent launch of the Wave Arcade Etsy shop that will showcase some wall art, prints, and other things.
To start, we’ve launched with some surf spot map prints in a few different styles for regions all over the U.S. You’ll also find a photo print that’s an homage to the single fin – the handcrafted, wooden Wave Arcade single fin to be exact.
Eventually, you’ll see some surf artwork for sale here at WaveArcade.com too, but for now you can head over to Etsy for all things Wave Arcade to hang on your wall.
If you like what you’re seeing here, please tell some friends, or at the very least, pat your dog on the head.
